Happy Easter!

First off I like to welcome you to my blog and to bare with me as I figure out how to post links and so on here. LOL.
First off I'll tell you a little bit about myself. I'm married to a wonderful man and have 3 wonderful kids. I love to go camping, gardening, reading  and my whole family is involved in our local Scouting Group. We are a very busy family but I still find the time for my favourite pastime, card making. I love to make cards and 3D projects for myself and others and because of this I have started to sell Close to My Heart! I just love all of their products and selections!
The first project I would like to share is the Easter cards that I made for my card exchange group on FB that I belong too. I just had the greatest pleasure of meeting some of these amazing ladies at a retreat hosted by my CTMH up-line Amanda. I had so much fun that I plan on going again in November!
Ok, back to the card .For this card I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cart to cut out the egg shape card in Daisy white card stock. I then cut the printed paper and the overlay with the same cartridge.

I choose to make the cards in 2 different colours, as once I started I discovered that I didn't have enough of the one paper. So remember to always make sure you have enough supplies before you start. I used an old retired Stamp of the month for the bunny, which I watercolured. You can't tell in this picture that I used some glitter on the gift the bunny is holding.

I also added an Easter basket and Easter eggs to the inside of this card, but I forgot to take a picture. I also added the printed paper and overlay to the back of the card to give it  finished look.

                                                     HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!!!
